JFO: Two militants killed over past day in Donbas

During the past day, February 25, the Russian occupying forces violated the cease-fire regime seven times. One soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was killed and another one was injured, the press center of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported on Facebook.

Militants used 122-mm artillery and 120-mm mortars three times. The enemy fired in total 85 shells and mines at the Ukrainian positions.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions two times:

• using 122-mm artillery systems and 120-mm mortars in the area of the settlement Lebedynske;
• using 120-mm mortar near the village of Vodyane.
  In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy open fire at JFO positions five times:
• using hand-held anti-tank and automatic machine-gun grenade launchers and small arms near the urban-type settlement Novotoshkivske;
• using small arms in the area of settlements Khutir Vilniy, Novooleksandrivka and Novhorod.
  Units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.
  According to intelligence data, on February 25, two occupiers were killed and another three were injured.
  As The Journalist reported, the body of Major of Ukrainian army had been found in the river near Zhytomyr.
