Over 16,000 people cross border at checkpoints with occupied Donbas over past day

At least 16,2 thousand people crossed the checkpoints with occupied Donbas on January 7, 2019. This was reported by the press service of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS).
The report notes that passenger traffic has decreased over the past day.

The source reports that 4,200 people and 640 vehicles passed through the Maiyorske checkpoint; through Mariyinka checkpoint passed 4,140 people and 850 cars; through Novotroyitske – 3,245 people and 745 cars; through Hnutove – 305 people and 85 vehicles, and 4,315 people passed through the Stanytsya Luhanska checkpoint.

As The Journalist reported, the militants launched five attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas over past day.
