Some 200 military became sick with measles at the Yavoriv training ground

A large outbreak of measles was recorded in the Lviv region at the end of June, but the chief of the Lviv military hospital, the colonel of the medical service Ivan Gaida told about the situation just Yesterday, July 12. This is reported by Ukrinform news agency.

«The outbreak of measles infection on the Yavoriv training ground has already been eliminated, all these patients are healthy and continue to serve. As a rule, the infection broke out among young recruits and to a small extent among cadets and reservists,» – said Gaida.

It is noted that the mass disease among the military was the result of neglect of planned vaccinations, which parents refused to do 15-20 years ago «for the sake» of their children.
