A volcanic eruption occurred on the Japanese island of Kutinerabu. About this informs AFP.

It is reported that on January 17, a volcanic eruption occurred on the island of Kutinorabu, located in the south-west of Japan.
It is noted that the ashes and smoke emitted into the air for six kilometers.
According to the available information, 109 people live on the island; they were not evacuated. In turn, no losses or injuries were reported among the population.
