Former deputy prime minister of Ukraine Roman Bezsmertnyi intends to run for president of Ukraine. The politician said this during a meeting with journalists in Kiev, as reported by «Hromadske Radio».
Bezsmertnyi sharply criticized the work of current government and described his vision on how the country must been developed.
Recall that Roman Bezsmertnyi is one of the authors of the Constitution of Ukraine, a people’s deputy of Ukraine of four convocations. He was the representative of Ex-President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma in the Verkhovna Rada. In 2005, Bezsmertnyi became deputy prime minister for territorial-administrative reform.
At the beginning of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, the politician was the representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk.
Note that in according to Ukrainian electoral legislation, 2.5 million UAH deposit is required for registration of the candidate for elections.
