Six people were injured after major 15-vihecle crash occurred on the highway in the eastern province of Newfoundland and Labrador (Canada), CTV informs.
In total, 15 vehicles crashed in the incident: 12 passenger cars and 3 trucks.
“Two of the six victims were hospitalized with serious injuries. Part of the highway in the area of the Birch-Nerrows settlement is closed to traffic,” the report says.
According to reports, the cause of the accident was bad weather conditions, in particular, almost zero visibility because of snowfall.
As The Journalist reported, a vessel sailing under the Latvian flag was stranded off the coast of Turkey.
