NABU detains Hladkovsky on suspicion of abuse of power

Former First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleh Hladkovsky was detained on suspicion of abuse of power. This was reported by the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU).

The media reported that the former First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC Oleh Hladkovsky tried to leave the country and was detained by employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. This information was confirmed by the NABU.

“NABU confirms the detention of the former first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council on suspicion of abuse of power (Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigative actions are ongoing. This is all the information that we can report so far, taking into account the confidentiality of the investigation. Details will be reported later,” the message says.

Hladkovsky was detained in a restaurant located on the Boryspil highway.

As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko removed Hladkovsky from his duties as the first deputy secretary of NSDC during the investigation.
