Naftogaz CEO Andriy Koboliev has announsed a significant drop in gas prices for population in the summer. He stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
To Kobolev, two private producers who cooperate with Naftogaz intended to close existing production.
“I do not want to disclose the import prices for now – we will delight consumers after we revise the prices for February. We forecast a significant drop in prices in the summer,” Koboliev said.
On January, 28 Naftogaz of Ukraine set a wholesale price for natural gas for the needs of the population, heat producers and other consumers at UAH 4.65 per cubic meter in January 2020, which corresponds with a new formula. Thus, the price increased to UAH 4,277 per cubic meter, or by 8.7% compared to December 2019.
