10 heat-generating enterprises may be left without gas supply from August 1, due to debts to Naftogaz of Ukraine.
This was stated by the Naftogaz NJSC.
“In late July, 374 heat-generating enterprises, which purchase gas from Naftogaz of Ukraine, had fulfilled necessary conditions for continuation of gas supply service, as stipulated by the Cabinet of Ministers resolution on imposing special obligations of October 19, 2018. At the same time, 10 enterprises, or 3% of the total number of current counterparties, did not provide payments to Naftogaz sufficient for continuation of gas supply,” the statement says.
In accordance with the law, Naftogaz has sent to such debtors messages regarding cessation of gas consumption from August 1, 2019, if the necessary payments will not be provided till this time.
In case of non-compliance with this requirement, the natural gas transportation and distribution to such debtors must be terminated in accordance with the procedure established by the law, with the involvement of the relevant GTS/GDS operators.
Gas supply may be terminated for the “Oblteplokommunenergo” (Chernihiv), “Brovaryteplovodoenergiya BGS” (Brovary), “Tokmak Bioenergy” TGS (Zaporizhzhia Oblast), “Energy-Teplovodoservis” (Lviv Oblast), “Special Energy Company” (Chernihiv), “Zhilservice Plus” (Kharkiv), “Teplokommunenergo Mayak LTD” (Vinnitsia), HBC “Uchitel” (Kyiv Oblast), OSMD “Zatyshna oselya 25” (Zhytomyr), “Gagarinets Real Estate Agency” (Kharkiv).
