The authorities of Kiev stated that Naftogaz refuses to enter into the agreement with the Municipal enterprise Kyivteploenergo for shipments of natural gas.
This was reported by the press service of the Kiev City State Administration, announcing a briefing on the PJSC Kyivenergo debts for the consumed gas, in the context of ending the agreement with the city.
«The total debt is 5 billion UAH», – the message stated.
The city authorities position is that the Kyivenergo monetary obligations and their future should not affect the city’s life-support supplies of natural gas.
«Naftogaz refused to conclude an agreement to supply natural gas to the Kyivteploenergo, until Municipal enterprise will not pay off debts of its predecessor – PJSC Kyivenergo», – Kiev City State Administration reported.
«The issue of gas supplies to Kiev and the problem of Kyivenergo debts must be solving separately», – the city’s authorities insists.
As «The Journalist» reported, DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks will disconnect Kyyivvodokanal from the network because of electricity debts.
