National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption requires to punish Volodymyr Tolubko, rector of State University of Telecommunications, for setting premiums in the context of a conflict of interest.
As reported on the site NAPC, agency sent to the court of 28 protocols on administrative offenses against rector of university, which are related to failure to comply with the requirements for the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest in setting premiums.
Rector of university, without notifying him of a real conflict of interests between Ministry of Education and Science as a body whose management is the university, issued orders on repeated prizes for his cousin who works as a deputy director of Educational and Scientific Institute of Distance Learning University.
In addition, in connection with these violations in activities of rector, an instruction was sent to Minister of Education and Science Lilia Hrynevych.
