The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Yakiv Smoliy, has said that the NBU plans to approve a five-year program for the country’s financial sector in January 2020.
According to Smoliy, “this document is ready.”
“We will receive the final version in December, after the market provides its suggestions and corrections. In January we will make its public presentation in order to approve the activities of the financial sector until 2025 as a program document,” UNIAN quotes the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, as saying.
The key areas of the program are to ensure financial stability, promoting economic development, inclusion, developing financial markets and stimulating innovation.
