Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Stuart Peach, at a meeting of the heads of general staffs of NATO member countries in Brussels, said that the North Atlantic Alliance still does not accept Russia’s annexation of Crimea and urges the Russian Federation to withdraw from the peninsula and stop supporting the militants in Donbas. This is reported on the NATO’s website.

“And just to be clear this Alliance does not, and will not, accept Russia’s illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea and we continue to call on Russia to withdraw from Crimea, and cease its support to militants in eastern Ukraine,” he said.

The Chairman of the NATO Military Committee noted that “we also call on Russia to release the Ukrainian sailors and ships seized in November last year near the Sea of Azov.”

As The Journalist reported, NATO will allocate EUR 1.5 million to liquidate burial ground in Kirovohrad Oblast.
