NATO announced plans to strengthen its presence in the Black Sea, the press service of NATO quoted Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg as saying.

The decision to strengthen the presence of NATO forces in the Black Sea will be discussed at a meeting of foreign ministers of the Alliance countries on April 3-4.


“NATO is concerned about Russia’s aggressive behavior, including its continuing aggressive actions against Ukraine, as well as the seizure of Ukrainian sailors and vessels in the Sea of ​​Azov. NATO is already increasing its presence in the Black Sea. And it continue to work closely with its partners in the region,” Stoltenberg said.

According to Stoltenberg, NATO ships will enter the ports of the Black Sea.
