North Atlantic Treaty Organization called on Ukraine to implement Venice Commission recommendations regarding the education law and expressed solidarity with position of Hungary, which claims that the rights of Ukrainian Hungarians are violated. About this reports press service of the organization.
NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Goethemuller, during her visit to Hungary, noted that “the allies are in solidarity with Hungary when it comes to the Ukrainian law on education. In the Brussels Declaration and in assessing the annual program of Ukraine, all Allies urge it to fully implement Venice Commission recommendations.”
Recall, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine by 2023 will apply for membership in European Union and will receive a plan of action regarding NATO membership.
