NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the Alliance will allocate USD 260 million for construction of a warehouse for stationing U.S. military equipment in Poland, Poland Radio informs.

It is reported that facility will be built in the village of Powidz (Greater Poland Voivodeship) and will be used to storage armored vehicles, ammunition and weapons of the American brigade.

“This investment into infrastructure in central Poland is part of a great effort that strengthens military mobility. Thanks to the previous deployment of equipment, we will increase the readiness of our troops to action. It is also about the ability to quickly transport people, not just heavy equipment,” said Stoltenberg.

As The Journalist reported, NATO Secretary General said that Georgia would definitely become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance.
