National Bank of Ukraine: subsidiaries of Russian state-owned banks in Ukraine suffered enormous losses

Among the banks, operating in Ukraine, subsidiaries of Russian state-owned banks have suffered the largest loss in the first half of 2018.

As reported on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine, these structures suffered UAH 9.020 billion loss. Including «Sberbank» suffered UAH 7.176 billion loss, VTB Bank: UAH 1.438 billion loss, Prominvestbank: UAH 405.6 million loss.

According to the provided data, the majority (67 out of 82) of banks operating in Ukraine, made a profit in the first half of the year. The largest profit indicates PrivatBank (UAH 6.926 billion), Raiffeisen Bank Aval (UAH 2.752 billion), UkrSibbank (UAH 1.229 billion).
