This year, National Bank of Ukraine plans to mint out 100 million new coins in denominations of 5 and 10 UAH, which will be put into circulation in 2019-2020.
According to National Bank, the plans also include chasing 80 million pieces of coins in denominations of 1 and 2 hryvnas, put into circulation in 2018.

National Bank recalled that these coins will eventually replace banknotes of corresponding denominations in circulation.
