National Police will purchase 80 new vehicles

National Police plans to purchase 80 special vehicles this year to transport detainees according to the Communications Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

Head of the National Police Serhiy Knyazev said that work is currently under way to provide material and technical support for temporary detention isolators (TDI). In particular, during the past year the agency purchased 45 special vehicles equipped according to European standards.

«This year it is planned to purchase 80 vehicles to transport detainees and persons taken into custody. The special transport will be sent to the regions», the chairman of the National Police said, emphasizing that the leaders of the regional police departments are personally responsible for organizing and monitoring the work of temporary detention facilities and convoy units.

As reported by «Journalist» in Kyiv, a reproductive clinic was identified where surrogate mothers gave birth to children for export abroad.
