Sudden warming and rapid melting of snow increased the water level in the Teterev River in Zhytomyr oblast, as a result of which the water washed away the remains of the bridge. About this reports TSN.
It is known that the destroyed bridge served as a temporary crossing over the Teterev River on the bypass road to the city of Radomyshl.
"Most likely, the capacity of the pipes, laid during the construction of the move, did not cope with so much water," – said in a statement.
It is known that a temporary bridge was erected at the time of construction of the main crossing.
