The best Instagram-images in 2018 are named

The best photos of Photobox Instagram Photography Awards (PIPAs) photo contest were named, which were published on Instagram in 2018. The winners are presented on the official website of the award.

At the competition, 10 pictures were awarded in the categories «Animals», «Travels», «Fashion», «Love», «Landscape», «Festivals», «Without Filters», «Art», «Sport» and «Family».

The winner in each nomination received a cash prize of £ 500 ($ 650). In addition, out of dozens of winners chose the best photo of the year. Its author was awarded the main prize of 5,000 pounds sterling ($ 6.5 thousand).

Note that any photo published on Instagram during the previous 12 months could participate in the competition. To get to the jury, the author had to put the photo under the photo hashtag # thepipas2018. This year, 184.5 thousand photos applied for the competition prizes.
