NBU announces decline of remittances to Ukraine

To National Bank of Ukraine, remittances from migrant workers to Ukraine decreased by 8.5% in early summer, compared to the same period last year, TSN reports.

In June 2020, the Ukrainians transferred USD 856 million of remittances, which is 13.9% less compared to February.

“In general, Ukrainians transferred UAH 12 billion in 2019. This year the expected amount of transfers will be much less,” the National Bank said.
