According to the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), the outflow of foreign direct investment from Ukraine for 11 months of 2020 amounted to USD 200 million, the Head of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine Bohdan Danylyshyn reports.

In 2020, the inflow of foreign direct investment into the country practically stopped. In addition, the net outflow of funds from Ukraine on the financial account for January-November 2020 amounted to USD 7.7 billion.

To Danylyshyn, the main reasons causing investments outflow are the pandemic consequences and uncertainty with further prospects for overcoming coronavirus epidemic in Ukraine.
