The leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine have met with the Acting Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Geoffrey Okamoto.
“Great conversation today between US Treasury Acting Undersecretary Geoffrey Okamoto and National Bank Governor Yakiv Smoliy,” the US Embassy in Ukraine said.
It is noted that the independence of the National Bank is vital to Ukraine’s financial stability and attractiveness to foreign investors.
Also at the meeting were present the deputy heads of the National Bank Kateryna Rozhkova and Dmytro Sologub.
