NBU officials leaves for IMF, World Bank meetings in Washington

Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, Yakiv Smoliy, is leaving for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) annual meeting in Washington (US).

First Deputy Head of the National Bank Yekateryna Rozhkova and Deputy Head Dmytro Sologub will join the Ukrainian delegation on October 16.

The IMF and the World Bank autumn meeting is being held on October 14-20 this year, the National Bank noted.

The Ukrainian delegation will meet with representatives of the IMF, WB, Clearstream international depository, major international investment companies and banks, as well as heads of other central banks.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said the Ukrainian delegation will visit the United States to continue talks with the IMF regarding a new three-year program which is expected to be launched this year.
