Telco Solutions and Investments LLC, being under control of the Azerbaijan’s Bakcell telecom company and is part of the NEQSOL Holding, acquired for USD 734 million a 100% shares in Vodafone Ukraine, the largest Ukrainian mobile phone operator.
“Under the agreement, MTS subsidiary Allegretto Holding S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) is selling a 100% shares in Preludium BV (Netherlands), the sole shareholder of VF Ukraine PrJSC, for USD 734 million, including about USD 84 million deferred payment,” MTS Ukraine said.
Telco Solutions and Investments signed a legally binding agreement with MTS to sell its telecommunications business in Ukraine. The purchase of Ukrainian company is financed mainly by international financial institutions.
The company will continue to provide services under the Vodafone brand and fulfill all obligations to employees, customers and partners.
