New Ambassador of Austria to Ukraine Gernot Pfandler has arrived in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While presenting copy of credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Olena Zerkal, he noted that the common historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine and Austria, with the desire to deepen economic and investment cooperation largely unite the interests of states.
It was stressed the improvement of the business climate in Ukraine became the prerequisite for the growing interest of Austrian investors to the Ukrainian market.
Olena Zerkal stressed the importance of Austria’s continued support of reforms in Ukraine, in particular for practical assistance in recovery and protecting of Carpathian forest.
