Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba outlined five prioritis of his work in a new position.

Kuleba expressed gratitude to President Volodymyr Zelensky and each MP who supported his appointment as head of the Foreign Ministry.

“It is an honor, responsibility and opportunity for me. You heard the president’s words: Ukraine’s foreign policy course remains unchanged. This, in particular, means that Ukraine continue to move towards EU and NATO,” Kuleba said.

The Foreign Minister outlined five priorities of his work at the post of the head of the Foreign Ministry.

1. Peace, security and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

2. Economic diplomacy: we will focusing on trade, attracting investment in Ukraine and supporting industry. I see especially great opportunities in Southeast Asia, but we will not forget other parts of the world. Ukrainian diplomacy will work anywhere, where there are opportunities for Ukrainian business.

3. Public diplomacy, so that the world would be delighted with us and see us not only as a victim of aggression, but also as an attractive country of opportunity.

4. Every Ukrainian is a drop in the ocean called “Ukraine”, an integral part of our people. Diplomats will do everything to make every Ukrainian proud of their homeland, feel its support and protection around the world.

5. I will actively encourage foreign Ukrainians not to break ties with their homeland in order to motivate everyone who would like to return home. To inspire anyone who is ready to be a lawyer for Ukraine in the world,” Kuleba emphasized.

According to him, a dialogue with parliament is very important to implement these ambitious tasks.

“I am always open for dialog with people’s deputies and I am sure that we will hear each other,” Kuleba is convinced.

In addition, the Minister noted that people are the greatest value of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, each professional and energetic person deserves decent and comfortable working conditions both at home and abroad.

As The Journalist reported, Verkhovna Rada suggests to decrease VAT rate to 15%.
