The Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Tetiana Slipachuk, has announced that the new parliament will change the composition of the CEC.
The head of the CEC said this in an interview with the “Time. Results of the week“ program.
At the same time, Slipachuk called on deputies to take into account the professionalism of the candidates when making decisions on the composition of the CEC.
“Looking at the political processes that are taking place in Ukraine, I will not pretend that this cannot concern the CEC as well. Therefore, if at the level of political will there will appear a decision on changing the composition of the CEC, or its full renewal, then such a decision will be made,” Slipachuk said.
