US President Donald Trump signs «right to try» bill, which gives terminally ill patients the right to use unregistered experimental medicines. This is reported by Associated Press.
Trump explained, that intention to allow the use of experimental drugs by incurably sick people was caused by his desire to give those people a chance to recover.
Patients will be able to use unregistered medicines only if they exhaust other treatment options taking approved drugs.
Note that the US Congress approved the bill after heated discussions.
