Over the past year, PrivatBank’s customers bought over 131 kg of gold bars, and on average during this period the bank sold almost 3 kg of gold per week.
Customers buy classic 100-gram bars and collectible gift bars weighted from 1 gram to one troy ounce, the bank’s press service reported.
Referring to the world analysts’ forecasts, the bank noted that the gold price this year could rise up to USD 1,450–1500 per troy ounce (≈ 31.1 gram) from the current level at USD 1,300–1,320 per troy ounce.
In addition, it is reported that the bank sells gold bars through Banking Metals Centers in Kyiv, the Dnipro, Kramatorsk, Zaporizhia and through a network of VIP customer service centers across Ukraine.
