Winner of Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine of 1962, American scientist James Watson is deprived of honorary titles in connection with his statements about race and intellect. About this reports BBC.

"In a recent television program, the scientist stated that genes allegedly affect the difference between the average IQ of representatives of the Caucasians and the Negroid races," the report says.

The words of a 90-year-old scientist were called "unsubstantiated and rash."
Note that at the moment Watson is in a nursing home, where he is recovering from a car accident.
