North Korea fires new missiles in first launches in 2020

North Korea launched two projectiles in the direction of the Sea of Japan for the first time in 2020, Yonhap reports.

According to the military, the missiles were launched in the area of Wonsan city located in southeastern North Korea.

On February 28, before the launch of the missiles, Kim Jong-un conducted the first military exercises of the Korean People’s Army with the participation of various military branches in the east, not far from the sea coast.
