The Guardian reports that astronomers are searching for the hypothetical massive «Ninth Planet», which is probably far beyond Pluto in a mysterious region known as the Oort Cloud, managed to detect an extremely remote dwarf planet. It flies around the Sun over 40 thousand years and most of the time remains invisible.

A new dwarf planet, which was called Goblin, is very cold. Its diameter does not exceed 300 kilometers. In this case, the planet moves in a very elongated orbit. It is almost 2.5 times farther from the Sun than Pluto. This is the third dwarf planet found in the vicinity of the solar system.

As the newspaper writes, the existence of the Ninth Planet has not been fixed directly. But the Goblin is obviously under the gravitational influence of a large unnoticed object. This gives astronomers confidence that there is still something else on the outskirts of our solar system.

Earlier, The Journalist reported that astronomers discovered the planet on which year lasts only 19.5 days.
