In the Zoo of Berlin “Tierpark” animals were offered to have Christmas trees decorated with various vegetables, fruits, meat or fish.
As noted by Daily Mail, the administration of the animal establishment has accepted New Year trees that are not managed to sell under a single condition – the trees had to be "fresh", that is, without chemicals and remnants of decorations.
Many of the herbivorous inhabitants of the zoo, such a treat had to taste, and especially demanding hung edible decorations – for example, monkeys hung bananas, and tigers – meat.
