The Head of the Department of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council was detained for extortion of a bribe. This is reported by UNN news agency.
It is reported that the official has demanded a USD 2 thousand bribe from the citizen of the city of Dnipro for the decision on the unhindered transfer of one of the city’s hospitals garages for rent.
The report says that extortioner was detained by the law enforcement officers as soon as he received the money
Earlier «The Journalist» the Head of the village council and the land surveyor demanded a USD 1 thousand bribe for the placement of gas stations in Odessa.
