On March 11, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Shuliak resigned. She wrote about this on her Facebook.

“I am leaving the post of the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada,” the message reads.

She emphasized that she worked closely with the Honcharuk government and supported its initiatives.

“I’m not kind of a person who changes her mind quickly, and now it’s hard for me to switch to a new government’s way, other programs and ideas. It is not about the new Cabinet is worse than the previous one, or something. The new government needs a communicator who will quickly and accurately understand its course. I managed to do this with the previous staff, because with Oleksiy we worked together long before his appointment. For several years we analyzed legislative processes in Ukraine and improved them in the team of the Office of Effective Regulation. That is why in November last year, I quickly ‘dive into’ the process. Now I’m not sure that I can repeat this experience. But I don’t want to work without current understanding of things and I have no moral right to do so,” Shuliak wrote.

She also wished success to the new Ukrainian government.

Я залишаю посаду представника Кабміну у Верховній раді. Протягом останніх місяців я тісно співпрацювала з урядом…
