The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas during a meeting in Minsk has almost agreed for the disengagement of forces and hardware at one of the JFO areas. This was announced by the press secretary of Ukraine’s representative in the TCG, second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer.
The disengagement site near the Hnutove settlement has been practically agreed.
“One of the disengagement sites near the Hnutove settlement, which was previously proposed by the Ukrainian side, has been practically agreed upon; work on the approval of others sites is ongoing. All parties has agreed on the need to ensure a complete and comprehensive ceasefire, which is now being violated by the illegal armed groups in ORDLO,” the message reads.
