Manchester Airport has turned down the spelling of the capital of Ukraine in accordance with Ukrainian transliteration, the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK reported.
“Within the #CorrectUA campaign, Manchester Airport (UK) has announced that starting from today it will be using the correct spelling ‘Kyiv’ to designate the capital of #Ukraine. Enjoy direct flights from Manchester to #KyivNotKiev. Thank you, Manchester Airport,” the message said.
As The Journalist reported, Ataturk airport starts spelling “Kyiv” correctly.
