One Ukrainian engineer went missing during militants attack in Donbas

A group of military engineers was attacked by nine militants during a combat mission in Donbas. One of the servicemen went missing, as the press center of the JFO HQ reported on Facebook.

The source reports that the Ukrainian engineering unit was attacked by the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group consisting of nine militants. During the skirmish, Ukrainian servicemen repulsed the enemy’s attack with intense and concentrated fire. According to preliminary data, during the fire clash two occupiers were killed, another one was wounded.

It is noted that in order to cover the retreat of reconnaissance group, the enemy resorted to 120mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

“Unfortunately, one of the servicemen of the demining group went missing during the shelling. Search activities continue,” said in a statement.

As The Journalist reported, a contract soldier of the 14th OMBR committed suicide in Volyn, Ukraine.
