The militants intensified shelling in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area . As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, the JFO press center reported.
The illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire regime 23 times, using 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, sniper and small arms.
The shelling was carried out near Marjinka, Hnutove, Novoselivka Druha, Pavlopil, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane and Pyshchevyk. The enemy four times attacked Ukrainian positions near Travneve, two times near Luhanske, as well as near Krymske, Zaitseve, Novoluhanske and Troitske.
One member of the Joint Forces was killed, another one was injured.
