On July 6, the militants violated the ceasefire regime seven times in the hostile zone in Donbas. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian serviceman received combat injuries, according to the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ.
The militants used 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns.
The JF positions near Novhorodske, Zaitseve, Pivdenne, Verkhniotoretske, Starohnativka and Khutir Vilnii came under enemy fire. The Ukrainian military opened fire in response.
