At the age of 100 years the Polish-born German producer Artur Brauner has passed away, according to Bild.
The producer died in his sleep at his home in Berlin.
Artur Brauner was born on August 1, 1918 in the Polish city of Lodz. In his career he produced a total of around 500 films.
Brouner is best known for his movies “Europe, Europe” and “Babi Yar”. He received the Golden Globe Award twice and was also awarded an Oscar as a co-producer.
