The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) election observation mission begins its work in Ukraine on 11 June.
This was reported by the ODIHR press secretary, Katia Andrushs, UNIAN informs.
“The ODIHR will send an observation mission to Ukraine for the early parliamentary elections in Ukraine,” the speaker said.
A spokeswoman added that the mission would begin its work on June 11. According to her, since the early parliamentary elections will take place shortly after the presidential elections and the format of the future observation mission is going to be similar to the previous one, the additional assessment of this mission’s opening will not be conducted.
“The ODIHR sent a request for 100 long-term and 750 short-term observers, but the final number of observers will depend on the decision that will be taken individually by the countries,” Andrushs said.
