OSCE Special Representative Martin Sajdik said that the next Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) meeting on resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine will be held in Minsk on May 22, BelTA reported.
“In connection with the upcoming holidays, the next meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group will be held in Minsk on May 22. Video conferences may be held before that if necessary,” the message says.
In turn, Sajdik noted that the parties have supported the idea of the Easter truce, but unfortunately, “they’ve been unable to come up with a unified text of the statement.”
As The Journalist reported, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko appealed to the international community with a request to respond firmly to Russia’s decision to issue passports to residents of the occupied areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
