On October 12, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) recorded 51 weapons in four militant training grounds in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region. All of these weapons were deployed outside the designated weapons storage areas, according to the OSCE SMM daily report.
Near a residential area in the settlement of Khrustalnyi (formerly Chervonyi Luch), the observers spotted seven tanks of undetermined type. In addition, at the training ground near Miusinsk (62 km south-west of Luhansk), the observers noticed a towed howitzer (D-30A Zhaba, 122mm), a self-propelled howitzer (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm), a tank of undetermined type and four anti-aircraft missile complex (9K35 Strela-10).
Nine tanks of undetermined type were found at the test site near Ternove (57 km east of Donetsk). Nine more tanks (probably T-72) were seen near Pokrovka (36 km east of Donetsk). The SMM also observed three armored personnel carriers in residential areas.
All weapons were located outside the designated weapons storage areas.
