More than 900 flights were canceled at O’Hara International Airport and 144 at Midway Airport in Chicago after heavy snowfalls, Weather.com reports.

“More than 900 flights were canceled at O’Hare International Airport as of 3:30 p.m,” the reports said.

Another 144 flights were canceled at Midway Airport.

According to the National Meteorological Service, about 4.8 inches of snow fell at O’Hare [more than 12 cm – ed.] as of 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

More than 3,600 houses and enterprises were left without electricity on Sunday after lunch due to bad weather conditions.
