Over the past day, more than 542k new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the world. This was evidenced by the data from Worldometers.
As of Wednesday morning, November 25, 60,087,885 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the world, of which 41.5 million patients recovered and 1.4 million died from complications of the disease caused by the infection.
The United States remains the leader in morbidity and mortality, as well as in the number of tests performed. Almost 13 million citizens were infected in the country, of which 7.6 million overcame the disease.
In second place in terms of incidence is India (9.2 million cases), in third – Brazil (6.1 million).
The top ten also includes France (2.15 million infected), Russia (2.14 million), Spain (1.61 million), Great Britain (1.53 million), Italy (1.45 million), Argentina (1, 38 million) and Colombia (1.26 million).
Ukraine took 17 place in the world and 8 place in Europe in terms of the number of people infected with coronavirus.
