The spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has been canceled due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the PACE.
“The meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which was scheduled for April 20-24, 2020, was canceled due to the COVID-19outbreak,” the statement reads.
The relevant decision was made by PACE President Rick Dams in order to ensure the safety and well-being of PACE members, delegates, guests and staff.
The PACE will postpone work on an updated work plan for 2020.
