Paris believes ‘yellow jackets’ protests supported from abroad

The French government believed that the ‘yellow vests’ protests have receiving support from abroad, the German international television and radio company DW informed, citing a spokesperson for the Cabinet of Ministers, Benjamin Griva.

The governmental spokesperson commented on the demonstrations coverage by the Russian television channel RT critically and drew attention to the fact that some members of the Italian government openly expressed moral support to the French protesting.
Griva has also noted that some demonstrators are belonging to the ultra-left camp, others to the ultra-right camp.

"Just because of the fact that someone has put on a yellow vest does not mean this person shares the same ideas," said Griva.
